2003 s Want One served as the third studio album by singer-songwriter Rufus Wainwright. Produced by Grammy Award-winner Marius de Vries, it yielded the singles I Don t Know What It Is and Oh What A World, both of which were featured in season two of the television series Nip Tuck. The album features guest vocals by Martha Wainwright, Joan Wasser (Joan As Police Woman), Teddy Thompson, and Linda Thompson, as well as a banjo solo by Wainwright s mother Kate McGarrigle. Want One charted on the US Billboard 200 and ranked high in the 2003 end of the year -lists of Mojo, Paste, Rolling Stone and more. Want One celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2023 with a 180g vinyl 2LP reissue.
