John Mayer – Sob Rock LP For Sale

Sob Rock is eighth studio album from 7x Grammy Award-winning singer songwriter John Mayer and the artist s first since 2017 s The Search For Everything which peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 album chart. Launched by the 1980s-esque lead single Last Train Home featuring Maren Morris, the 10-track collection was produced by Mayer and Don Was and recorded at Los Angeles Henson Studios.  I asked myself, ‘What music makes me feel like everything s going to be OK? And it s the music I listened to growing up in the ‘80s. There s a security-blanket aspect about that sound that reminds me of a safer time, Mayer told the Wall Street Journal.
